Andrea Vizzini’s artistic beginning was characterised by a conceptualised painting, using figuration in alienating and diversified contexts. With the main exponents of the historical group of the “Nuova Figurazione” of the 1970s, he contributed to the gradual success of the movement, when the Italian art scene was dominated by artists such as Renzo Vespignani and Giuseppe Guerreschi. In his works, accompanied by many projects, he reshaped the sense of myth, art history and literature in a visionary way.
