This car was commissioned, years ago, to a craftsman who boasts of making perfect replicas and in condition like new. However, the car had imperfections upon delivery, so the owner provided for this: - full repainting with proper preparation; - soft top cloth remake; - new seat padding. For the mechanical and electrical part of the car, it was brought to the most important Citroen expert in Abruzzo, with carte blanche to carry out all the necessary interventions, and make the car in perfect efficiency. Among other things, this has been done: - radiator inspection; - complete inspection of braking system with replacement of front brake discs and pads, replacement of handbrake pads and callipers inspection; - hydraulic system check with replacement of loading ball with the three-way correct one; - replacement of water pump belts; - replacement of carburettor and petrol hoses; - replacement of alternator regulator; - assembly of relay for lights; - replacement of rear suspension sleeve; - replacement of thermostat; - complete inspection of electrical system as many warning lights weren’t working properly. Now the car is in very good condition for bodywork and interior, and with mechanics and electrical system to the maximum efficiency. It only shows some slight flaw, as shown in photos, due to continued disassembly and reassembly. It was delivered with new (but not approved) LPG system. The system is still there. Originally, it was equipped with an injection system, but because of the problems it created, it was modified to a carburettor one with replacement of the cylinder head. Regularly approved ‘convertible bodywork’ in the registration certificate. A cabriolet which makes five people travel comfortably, with plenty of room for luggage.
