Handmade pendant made of 14 kt / 585 gold. The pendant has a simple frame holding the imposingly big full opal from Australia (no triplet!). The opal has the outer dimensions of 21 x 16 x 3.5 mm, approx. 6.5 ct. It is a very big size for an opal with uniform and vivid colour fields. When in movement, the beautiful natural gemstone produces a changing play of colours ranging from yellow to blue to green to purple and especially much of the rare colour red. The 585 gold frame and the wide, sturdy eyelet were made specifically for this gemstone.
