Lladró wanted a more commercial name for the American market. In 1979 the Zaphir name stopped being used. Porcelain figure of Zaphir brand (the international name of Lladró between 1974 and 1979). Very hard to find since it was discontinued and doesn’t appear in the Lladró catalogue (it belongs to the Zaphir collection that was never catalogued). It’s excellently preserved. The porcelain maintains all the brightness. It has no breaks or flaws. It’s perfect. Figure or good size and depth, with a fantastic appearance. The Zaphir stamp is visible on the base.
